Welcome back to Intellicast! We hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. On this episode, Brian Lamar and Producer Brian discuss the latest market research news over the past couple weeks, as well as catch-up on what they have been up to over the holiday. Brian Lamar even has a couple of new rants for us.
Kicking off the episode, Brian Lamar and Producer Brian catch-up with one another after the long holiday weekend (longer for some than others!). Next, Brian and Producer Brian discuss the new report released by Jeremy and John Zogby of John Zogby Strategies called The Main St. / K St. IntelligenSEER. Issue 3 was just released and delves into people’s opinions on government and national sovereignty. You can check it out here.
The guys then turn to market research news, including Research For Good’s new data tool suite called DataForce, the new Iraq panel for Ipsos, Facebook’s new settings regarding political advertising, the extension of the Qualtrics/Voxpopme partnership, and the launch of Ribnik Research.
The guys also discuss the new reports launched by ThinkNow, including one that measures the impact of corporations’ support for social and environmental initiatives on consumer brand perception and purchase behavior, and the other one around the 2020 election. They also touch on the GRBN Trust Survey findings. ‘
The episode ends with Brian Lamar giving us two new rants. The first on the “like” or “thumbs up” on a text message, and the second on the enormous amount of fireworks set off this Fourth of July season.
