You Need Reliable Data. We Build the Research Program to Get It.
EMI Research Solutions handles every stage of the quantitative research design and data collection process: sample design, market research survey programming, fielding, quality control, and analysis. Whether you’re running consumer market research or a complex B2B tracking study, you get one partner who thinks of everything: from data quality processes and respondent experience to the research design that gathers the data you need to make the best decisions.
What We Do
We help organizations understand customers, evaluate opportunities, and make better decisions through custom online quantitative research and advanced analytics. From foundational consumer market research surveys to sophisticated multivariate analyses, our data collection capabilities cover the full range of quantitative methods. Our work includes, but is not limited to:
B2B sentiment tracking
Brand and advertising tracking
Concept and packaging testing
Customer satisfaction and loyalty research
Driver analysis
MaxDiff analysis
Pricing research
Segmentation and shopper journey research
TURF analysis
Not sure which methodology fits your question? That’s part of the conversation.
Our Services
Custom Sample Plans & Strategic Blending
Your sample strategy should be built around your research objectives, not around whatever panel supply is available. EMI’s unique IntelliBlend® methodology has us strategically blend vetted panel sources in an intentional, controlled way to reduce bias and deliver more representative, high-quality data. For tracking studies, we leverage our sample landscape expertise to replicate your blend, attitudinally and behaviorally, so your data remains consistent over time. Because we don’t own a panel, our only agenda is finding the right sample for your project.
Questionnaire Development & Survey Programming
A good survey is harder to write than most people expect. Screeners that telegraph the study’s intent, questions that are technically valid but confusing to real respondents, surveys that creep past 10 minutes and start losing good participants. These are common problems with real consequences for your data and ultimately your decisions. We review every questionnaire for logic, length, and respondent experience, and handle the full technical build including skip logic, branching, randomization, and mobile optimization.
Advanced Analytics
You get access to a senior research team that goes beyond the toplines. When segmentation, conjoint analysis, MaxDiff analysis, TURF, or driver analysis is the right tool for the question, we’ll use it. When a simpler approach gets the job done, we’ll tell you that too.
Data Quality
Data quality in market research starts long before the analysis, and it doesn’t stop until your data is delivered. Here’s how our layered approach works:
What sets this process apart is that it’s never static. EMI’s research-on-research program runs throughout the year to monitor shifts in panel behavior, track how fraud patterns are evolving, and continuously retune our thresholds. That means the quality controls protecting your data today are informed by what’s actually happening in the sample landscape right now, not what was happening two years ago.
Reporting
We offer three standard reporting options depending on your needs:
- Formatted Data Tables – clean, structured output for teams doing their own analysis
- Topline Report (~10-15 slides) – a concise summary of key findings
- Full Report (15+ slides) – complete findings with detailed analysis and an executive summary
Custom reporting is also available if you have specific stakeholder or format requirements.
iHUTS
When you need product feedback grounded in real-world usage, we recruit targeted participants, ship products to their homes, and collect structured feedback at defined intervals.
Global Research & Translations
Our network helps you reach audiences in 82 countries, with translations and cultural adaptation included, so your survey reads naturally in every market.
What Makes EMI Different
EMI sits between DIY research tools and the large global firms. That’s intentional. We’re not Ipsos or Kantar. We don’t carry their overhead, their bureaucracy, or the conflict of interest that comes with owning a panel. What you get instead is a senior-led team that moves fast, thinks carefully, and stays focused on your research objectives.
Sampling Expertise:
You get representative samples and rigorous quality controls that reduce bias before fieldwork even begins.
Respondent Psychology & Survey Design:
Your survey is designed to keep good respondents engaged while filtering out inattentive or fraudulent ones.
Senior-Led Project Execution:
Experienced researchers make the calls at every stage, so problems get solved before they affect your data.
Agile & Efficient:
Without layers of bureaucracy, your project moves faster, communication is direct, and the focus stays on the research.
A La Carte or All-In
Not every project needs the full package. Some clients come to us for sample and cross-tabs. Others want questionnaire development and a polished executive summary. Some hand us the whole thing. You choose what you need, and we handle it.
24/7/365 Project Management
Every project comes with a dedicated project manager available around the clock throughout the field period. If something shifts mid-study (quota pacing, a feasibility issue, an unexpected drop in incidence), you’ll hear about it from us before it becomes a problem, not after. One dedicated team, start to finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
Both. We handle the full research process from sample design and survey programming through fielding, quality control, and analysis. You can also come to us for individual pieces of that process if that’s what you need.
We don’t own a panel, which means we can recommend the right sample for your project without bias toward any one source. We draw from a global network of panel partners and use our IntelliBlend® methodology to strategically blend sources and maintain data quality across the study.
We’ll review it. A lot of surveys that come in have issues that are easy to miss if you’re not deep in the sample landscape every day: leading screeners, surveys that run too long, questions that make sense internally but confuse respondents. We catch those things before they affect your data.
We field research in 82 countries across consumer, B2B, and healthcare audiences, with translations and cultural adaptation services included.
It means experienced researchers are involved at every stage, not just at kickoff and delivery. We don’t hand you off to a junior coordinator after the proposal is signed. That matters most when something unexpected comes up mid-field and a fast, informed decision needs to be made.
We layer three fraud detection tools at survey entry to screen out bots, click farms, and duplicate respondents before they reach your survey. That’s combined with in-survey quality checks and AI-powered data scrubbing and human review post-field. The goal is to catch bad respondents at every stage, not just clean up after the fact.
Survey response bias can come from a lot of places: a screener that signals what the study is about, questions that lead respondents toward a particular answer, or a sample drawn from a single panel with its own behavioral tendencies. We address all three by reviewing questionnaires for leading language, designing screeners that don’t telegraph intent, and strategically blending multiple panel sources to reduce any single-source bias.
A one-time study answers a specific question at a moment in time. A tracking study measures the same metrics repeatedly over time so you can see how things change, whether that is brand awareness, purchase intent, customer satisfaction, and so on. Tracking studies require consistent methodology wave over wave, which is where our IntelliBlend® approach is especially valuable. If your sample composition shifts between waves, you can’t tell whether your data reflects real market changes or just panel drift.
