Intellicast S5E22 – We’re Back from Summer Hiatus

Welcome back to Intellicast! In this episode, Brian Lamar and Producer Brian share some recent EMI updates from the past six weeks (We know you missed us!) and some news stories from the market research industry.

The first EMI update is the launch of our Sample Quality Optimization Rating. We held our webinar last week—if you’re having FOMO from missing it, don’t stress. You can watch it on-demand anytime.

We’re also excited to announce we’ve been named a Top 25 Insights Association Market Research Firm! The guys share what it means to be in the Top 25 and how we made the cut.

After that, Brian and Brian jump into the latest market research news starting with the ESOMAR Top 50 report. They take a deep dive into the report and discuss some of the companies that made the list.

In the second story, they chat about Qurious Insight, a new data firm launched by Andrew Mofatt, Mark Slobe, and several other former Dynata, Nielsen, and Kantar employees. Schlesinger and Maru have also partnered for a new venture called “Quantitative Insights Communities” giving their clients access to qualitative, quantitative, and advanced research methodologies in one platform.

The guys wrap up with the announcement that Ironwood Insights has expanded their phone surveying capabilities with three new hires and the opening of a new call center in Idaho.
