Intellicast S3E44 – Upfronts, Rebrands, and Acquisitions
October 1, 2020Intellicast S3E46 – Mental Health in Market Research
October 15, 2020Welcome back to Intellicast! On today’s episode, Brian Lamar and Producer Brian are joined by Chris Powell, CEO of Talmetrix. Talmetrix captures, connects, and correlates disparate talent data to generate relevant insights that improve employee experience, engagement, retention, performance, and employer brand reputation.
Kicking off the interview we talk with Chris about Talmetrix and their focus on employee engagement. It then shifts to Chris’s background and what led him to Talmetrix. Chris talks about some of the other organizations he worked with, including Scripps Network, Voya, Marriott, Deloitte, and Northwestern University.
They guys then switch gears and talk about employee engagement research. They discuss the difference between employee satisfaction and employee engagement and how that impacts an organization. Chris also touches on how employee engagement research has changed because of COVID, and why it is important to measure engagement now as many organizations are still having their employees working virtual.
Brian and Chris then discuss Talmetrix’s approach to employee engagement research and its similarities and differences to traditional consumer research. It has more in common than you would expect.
In the second half of the interview, Chris takes on our 4 P’s. We learn Chris is a great home chef and loves to make homemade pasta. We also learn he is a big car guy, and what his top 3 dream cars are. Finally, Chris gives us both a great Publix story and a Prince story.
