In this installment of The Sample Landscape, we will be looking at some of the findings from our latest round of proprietary research on the sample industry specifically around the current political climate in the United States.
The Current Climate
In this study, we asked respondents about their feelings from our latest round of proprietary research on the sample industry specifically around the current political climate in the United States.
Differences in response can be found based on education level, gender, political affiliation, age, and income.
When looking at the results by education level, those with a college education believe that the current political climate is unhealthy and reduces bipartisanship.
Based on gender, more males than females agreed that the political climate is unhealthy and reduces bipartisanship.
Political affiliation results found that more Democrats believe that the current political climate is unhealthy and reduces bipartisanship than Republicans.
Cause for the Current Climate
We also asked respondents who they blame for the current political climate from a list. The list included Republicans, Democrats, The Traditional Media (TV, Radio, Newspapers, etc.), Social Media, or Other.
Overall, Republicans were the most highly blamed with 57%. The second most blamed option were the Democrats with 46%. In third place was the Traditional Media with 39%, followed by Social Media with 29% and Other with 11% of total respondents.
