Welcome back to Intellicast! Brian Lamar and Producer Brian have another news-filled episode for you (although it’s filled with plenty of other topics too, trust us!)
The guys take the first segment to fill listeners in on some current events including recent and future travels.
Kicking off the rest of the episode, the guys give a preview of the Future of Insights Summit later this week. Brian Lamar will be speaking on the commoditization of sample.
After that, Brian and Brian dive into some market research news starting with Dynata’s expansion of their partnership with Google. They are now approved to measure YouTube lift as part of their digital ad campaigns.
In the second and thirds news stories, they discuss DISQO’s debut of a new product called “Outcome Lift” and IRI and NPD’s complete merger.
In their final and possibly most interesting industry update, the guys take a closer look at concerns raised by the Senate Appropriations Committee regarding the US Census’ plan to create a probability-based panel for tracking public opinion, claiming it lacks transparency.
