First up, the guys discuss the news of Engine’s rebrand to Big Village. They talk about what the vision of the rebrand might be and how it will apply to their overall offerings and position in the marketplace.
In the second big story, Brian and Producer Brian talk about the announced merger between GfK and NielsenIQ that was announced on Friday, July 1. They talk about how it seemed like the two companies were trying to sneak this news in at the start of a holiday weekend. They also discuss how the merger seems like a good fit for both companies. Finally, they ponder about what the combined company may look like in the future.
