Data Quality 101: Tips For A Great Screener
June 30, 2021Incentive Types and How They Can Impact Brand Awareness and Ratings
July 6, 2021Welcome back! We have a fully loaded news episode for you today. Kicking off the episode, Brian Lamar and Producer Brian talk about an incident with Brian Lamar at his other job as a township trustee.
After some jokes about Brian getting visited by the FBI (if you are familiar with Cincinnati city politics, you understand), the guys jump into a boatload of market research news.
The first few stories the guys discuss all deal with SurveyMonkey, including their new launch as Momentive, their new CFO, and their new AI-based audience targeting solution.
Next, the guys discuss the new unicorn valuation of Morning Consult, and what it means to the industry, Toluna’s launch of a new enterprise insights subscription, a new panel created by NORC and AARP, and a recent acquisition by Sermo.
The next story about a recent acquisition made by consumer insights platform, DISQO, leads to a lengthy discussion about the trend in market research in combining first-party and third-party data. Brian and Producer Brian discuss where the trend is going and how the other larger trend with the rise of data privacy and consumers wanting to control their data play with each other.
After the data discussion, the guys touch on Sprinklr’s IPO announcement, Research Defender adding another client integrating their data quality tools, and Alida’s new financing to fund their aggressive growth strategy.
In our final story, we wish friend of the podcast, Andrew McKinney, congratulations on his new role as the Director of Marketing and Strategic Accounts at the Insights Association.
