March 16, 2020Welcome back to Intellicast! We have a bit of a different episode for you this week. On the first half of the episode, Tony Brown joins Brian Lamar to talk about some of the latest news in market research. They include Cint’s new CTO, and Dynata’s new partnership with CMNTY.
Brian any Tony then turn their attention to COVID-19 and its impact on the market research industry. They discuss what they have seen so far in terms of what others in the industry are doing, what EMI is doing, and what they have seen specifically around research, the supply chain, response rates and any potential behavior or attitudinal changes.
Normally that would have been the end of the episode, but there were some announcements and news that happened after we finished recording, that we felt we needed to discuss. So, in the second half of our episode, Andrew DeCilles joins us to discuss COVID-19 more and some of the additional announcements we have seen. We also discuss the postponement of Quirks Chicago, and what we think will be happening in the coming few days.
