What do you do at EMI?

I am a Research Manager working to make sure projects are launched successfully, run smoothly, and close with a satisfied client.

What led you to EMI?

Market Research is something that has interested me for some time and I was intrigued by the opportunity to be part of the process of taking research insights and putting them into action.

When you aren’t at work, you are..?

Hanging out and catching up with friends, playing with my nieces and nephews, working out, or playing basketball.

What’s your favorite food?

Pizza and chicken.

What’s your best travel story?

The time I went on a hike in Gatlinburg where we hiked 6 miles uphill in search of an 80-foot waterfall, only to initially find an 8-foot one… our disappointment was reversed when other hikers directed us just a little farther up.

What kind of music do you listen to?

Just about anything… my most played playlist consists of country, pop, rap, classic rock, etc.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Dunk a basketball or play the guitar/drums.

If you could have dinner with any person, living, dead, or fictional, who would you dine with?

Kobe Bryant because he was an incredible player that inspired my love and passion for basketball. Also, his work ethic and mindset are unmatched and I would love to understand what drove his motivation and resilience.

Tell me one interesting fact about yourself

I love playing and watching basketball.

What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?

Something in the world of sports since playing, watching, and learning about sports has been a huge part of my life up to this point– ticket sales, game day operations, etc. I would also love to be a coach. I love working with kids and watching them learn and grow to be passionate about the game like I am.

Do you have a personal motto or mantra?

I am always striving to be better than the person I was yesterday.

What is your favorite thing about working at EMI?

I really appreciate how friendly everyone has been since I joined. Everyone has been so inclusive; I truly felt like part of the team on my very first day. Everyone is also always willing to jump in and help each other out, no matter what it might be.

Which of our four core values here at EMI (Agility, Accountability, Integrity, or Passion) do you most relate to?

I would say Integrity as I strive to be honest, reliable, and respectful in all of my encounters. I also really relate to the core value of passion because I know how important it is to be passionate about whatever you set your mind to or else you will never truly find success.
