What do you do at EMI?
I am a Client Success Executive at EMI. I work closely with all cross departments with a primary goal of ensuring operational success across multiple research projects for our clients.
What led you to EMI?
My journey to EMI was by a bit of a surprise. A friend of mine referred me to a colleague at EMI and from there I was contacted to gauge my interest for my current role.
When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
When I have some free-time, I am either trying to stay active at the gym, binging random videos on YouTube or getting some grub at my favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
What’s your favorite food?
Vietnamese cuisine is by far at the top of my list.
What’s your best travel story?
About 5 years ago on New Years Eve, my 2 friends in Florida convinced me to come down and spend the weekend. Within a couple hours, I booked my flights, packed my bags, drove to the airport, and celebrated the countdown on the plane.
What kind of music do you listen to?
As cliché as it sounds, I listen to nearly every genre but I’m not going to lie, I do gravitate towards the Top 40 on the radio.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn how to play a musical instrument such as the piano or the violin as well as learning a new tech skill, i.e coding.
If you could have dinner with any person, living, dead, or fictional, who would you dine with?
This is a tough one, but I think I’d have to go with my favorite actor: Jason Momoa.
Tell me one interesting fact about yourself
In college, I auditioned for a couple reality shows because I was so set on moving out West to do something different.
What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?
I majored in Media Studies in college so I think I would steer towards the entertainment industry working with TV shows or any media related projects.
Do you have a personal motto or mantra?
My personal motto is to always live your best life as tomorrow is never guaranteed.
What is your favorite thing about working at EMI?
If I had to pick a favorite, I would say that it would be the collaboration and support from my colleagues. I feel supported by my colleagues when I reach out with something that I need help on and there is no hesitancy with the system of support which I value so much as a remote employee.
Which of our four core values here at EMI (Agility, Accountability, Integrity, or Passion) do you most relate to?
All of the four values are equally important but if I had to choose the most relatable, I would say Passion. Passion is what drives individuals to put their best foot forward which causes Agility, Accountability, and Integrity to fall into place accordingly.
