California Consumer Protection Act: Five Things Market Researchers Need to Know
November 13, 2019Employee Spotlight: Angelica Jump
November 18, 2019Welcome to this special edition of Intellicast. In this three-part series in association with The Future of Insights Summit at UGA, we will be interviewing several of this year’s speakers to get you ready for the summit coming up on December 5-6, 2019.
In part 3 of this series, we are joined by another pair of special guests. First up, is Remy Denton, Director of Research for SKIM. Remy starts off telling the guys how she got her start in market research. She then lets us in on some of the cool things she is working on at SKIM.
Adam and Brian then talk to her about being named to Greenbook’s Future’s List this year, and what it means to her.
The conversation then turns towards the upcoming Future of Insights Summit. Remy gives us a preview of her presentation “(Wo)man vs. Machine – Human vs. AI Experiment”. She and Brian also discuss if there are any nerves going into the conference, especially since it is with a lot of peers who graduated from the MMR program.
We then get to know Remy more personally, including some of her musical preferences, a great book recommendation, her hidden talent, and a new Mount Rushmore!
You can see Remy on The Future of Insights Summit, or connect with her on LinkedIn.
In our final speaker interview of the series, Adam interviews Brian. They talk about Brian’s background, and how it led him to EMI. They also touch on how Brian is a bit nervous to speak at the Future of Insights Summit because many of the attendees and other speakers are past classmates, colleagues, former mentors, and mentees. Brian then gives a preview of his presentation on the sample industry.
This is going to be a great conference!
The Future of Insights Summit at the University of Georgia is December 5-6. You can learn more about the summit and register by visiting their website. We hope to see you there!
