What do you do at EMI?

I am the Controler for EMI?

What led you to EMI?

A lot of prayers.  I was working for a bookkeeping company and Mike needed help and I was assigned EMI’s account – the rest is history 😊.

When you aren’t at work, you are…?

I am enjoying my family and I am heavily involved with my church.  I also volunteer at A Caring Place Pregnancy Center, a member of the Respect for Life and participant of the Lay Fraternities of Saint Dominic: Our Lady of Peace

What is your favorite thing about EMI?

The PEOPLE!!!  They are my work family.

What is your favorite food?

Healthy colorful food.

What is your favorite music band/genre/artist?

Country and Christian Music.

What is your favorite movie?

Julia Roberts movies – hard to list just one 😊

What is your favorite book?

The Bible and Praying the Rosary Like Never Before.

What is your favorite sports team?

The Cincinnati Reds

Do you listen to podcasts? If so, what is your favorite?

Fr. Chris Geiger’s Podcast.

What is your favorite drink?

Water and lemon.

Tell me one interesting fact about yourself?

I became Catholic on 3/31/18.

What is your life goal/dream/aspiration?

To get to Heaven.

What are some of your hobbies?

I love working around the house.

What is your most memorable memory?

Witnessing the birth of three children and four grandchildren.

Do you have a goal (personal or professional) for 2020?

Personally, to continue the journey I am on – lots of praying, studying scripture, volunteering, and enjoying life. 

Professionally, with the help of my co-worker Jake to make 2020 an awesome year in Accounting.

What’s your perfect vacation?

The beach with family.

As you get older, what are you most afraid of?

I will eventually lose my parents.

What is something you wish you could go back and learn?

I wish I had known how much God loved me in my 20’s – life for myself and my children would have been very different.

What gets you fired up?

When commitments are not kept.

What are three of the most significant numbers in your life?

3 3 3

What is the hardest or best lesson you have learned?

Not having faith.

What do you view as success?

Success is when people trust me.

If you could take one thing on a deserted island with you, what would it be?

A knife.

What is your biggest source of pride?

I take a lot of pride in my work.

Quite honestly, I can relate to all 4 core values of EMI.
