Intellicast Best of 2022: Part 1

Happy Holidays!

Brian Lamar and Producer Brian are taking some time off, but you won’t have to miss them too much because we’re back with another year of “Best of” episodes for you! In each episode, Brian and Brian will revisit some of our favorite interviews from the past year. Let’s get right into it!

In Part 1 of our Best of Intellicast Season 5 episodes, we’re revisiting interviews with Craig Alter of Bon Secours Mercy Health and Brooke Reavey of Dominican University.

[2:05-38:45] Craig’s interview kicks-off with some insight into his background as a 20-year veteran of client-side market research. He discusses all of the challenges he has faced as a client-side market researcher including being in small departments, selling the benefits of market research to the leaders of his organization, and more. He also tells us about the specifics of working in healthcare research and how storytelling helped him determine the “so what?” for his organization.

[38:50-1:23:45] In Brooke’s interview, we hear about her career starting as an intern, travelling the world, and eventually getting her Ph.D. Brooke talks about the history of marketing in a fascinating way that tells us a lot about our future. She also discusses some potential issues the market research industry might face with the democratization of data and DIY tools.

Thanks for listening to Part 1 of our Best of Season 5 series! Stay tuned for Part 2 next week!
