Welcome back to this special episode of Intellicast! On today’s episode, we are joined by three great guests to give us a preview of the 2020 Insights Marketing Day!
(6:15) Our first guest is Jeffrey Hayzlett, Chairman, and CEO of C-Suite Networks. Jeffrey joins Brian Lamar to discuss C-Suite Network and the podcast network, C-Suite Radio. Jeffrey talks about the different shows on the podcast network, its analytics available, and how podcasters can monetize their podcasts. This discussion is a great preview into the insights that Jeffrey will be providing on the upcoming panel, Everything You Want to Know, But are Afraid to Ask About Podcasting.
Jeffrey also talks about some of the other events and perks of C-Suite Network, including their weekly virtual get-togethers.
(23:23) Our second guest is Danielle Blugrind, Senior Consumer Insights Manager at Roku. Kicking off the interview, Danielle talks about her background and what led her to her current role, and what it entails. They then talk about some of the trends she sees in entertainment due to the pandemic.
Brian and Danielle then switch gears, and we learn more about Danielle personally. We learned about Danielle’s most significant source of pride, her top 3 travel spots, and the quirky thing she started since the pandemic.

(37:04) In our final interview, we are joined by Bianca Pryor, the Vice President of Consumer Insights, Content Optimization at BET. We dive into Bianca’s role at BET and what led her to it. We also discuss how she had to adjust insights to help deliver content to BET viewers due to the pandemic, which leads to a discussion around the recent Soul Train Awards. We also dive into what she sees in the media landscape and how it has impacted her research.
Bianca and Brian then discuss the shift to a focus on streaming in the industry and how it has impacted BET.
We then shift to get to know Bianca a bit better with a shortened 4 P’s. We learn that she got back into biking during the pandemic and has been exploring New York City on her bike with her son.
